By enrolling your child at Lanark Panto Club, you accept these terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) and sign your agreement to them as an ongoing agreement between you and Lanark Panto Club (“Agreement”).

Our Terms & Conditions apply to all Lanark Panto Club activities, classes, holiday workshops, rehearsals and any additional products and/or services offered by Lanark Panto Club.

Should there be a requirement to alter any T&Cs, these will be notified in the usual communication format. We will allow 14 days should you wise to opt out, thereafter we shall assume acceptance.

This is payable on 1st July annually, or thereafter at point of joining the Club. This fee is £10. We offer discount where there is three or more cast members from the one family. Cast joining our performances will also be required to pay £20 performance fee.

BOOKINGS

Class and workshops bookings will be on a first come basis, booking must be accompanied by a payment, and will be for full blocks of 4 or 5 weeks at a time. Renewal for the next block will be notified, and can be booked well in advance to hold you place. However, if you fail to rebook/make payment you may loose your place subject to class number restrictions. If classes have reached their maximum, you may opt to add to the reserve list.

Times, current Term Dates, fees and all relevant course details are listed.

Some of our classes offer a class trail which is free of charge, but is subject to class capacity restrictions, this should be booked in line with other classes. Our system will automatically deduct the payable amount for one class only.

Over the course of the year, you may book 4 holidays per class without having to make payment.

Our Annual Show is optional. Rehearsals for these must also be booked, you will be notified of which you should book into, again payment must be made in advance. Rehearsals will carry a maximum of 4 holidays for Chorus and 6 for Lead Cast. Some Lead Cast rehearsals will be free of charge to compensate for the additional time and commitment.

In the event of LPC being unable to hold our class or rehearsal, this will be rearranged where possible, and payment reapplied to this re-scheduled event. If this is unsuitable then the payment can be reapplied to another rehearsal/class/workshop or refunded.

Note that once payment has been made this is non-refundable, even if the class/rehearsal is cancelled by you.

Payments should be made via the booking app.

LATENESS AND ABSENCES FOR SHOW REHEARSALS

We completely understand that parents and children have busy lives but we do remind parents that due to the nature of our classes/rehearsals it is really important for the child to make as many sessions as possible. Rehearsals missed make it hard for the children to keep up with the show material and can sometimes result in them becoming worried and feeling under confident in performances. We want everyone to be full of smiles on stage and so we do ask that the children minimise missing sessions where possible. If lateness cannot be avoided please ensure that we are notified to expect you later.

UNIFORM

All we ask is that pupils/cast purchase a Lanark Panto Club T-Shirt. There are two key options, if you require an embroidered logo, this should be ordered via ALJ, St Leonards Street. P6 and below should opt for the yellow t-shirts with Junior Logo, P7 and upwards can opt for the Red or Black T with the Senior Logo. Vinyl logo t-shirt's can be ordered via lpc1962@yahoo.co.uk, please ensure subject header reads KIT ORDER. There are many other options from jumpers, jackets, bags etc and samples are often available at reception.

Please also be mindful that other clothing should be appropriate to the class/rehearsal. Footwear must be safe to wear and practical for the activity. Crocs, flip flops, heelies are forbidden. Football colours and other clothing with slogans, are also forbidden.

ANTI BULLYING

Lanark Panto Club welcomes everybody . We want every single cast member to walk through the door and feel happy, supported and encouraged. If we see any behaviour which is detrimental to a cast members happiness or learning then we will take action by speaking with parents/cast member and if necessary, removing bullies from the class. Performing arts is for everyone and cast can only give a brilliant performance when they feel confident. This also includes the behaviour towards teachers/production team. If anyone is feeling unhappy then they should contact Alan or Karen.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Cast participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Lanark Panto Club and its coaches/production team of any existing injuries or medical condition. All registrations must have any known medical conditions stated and any changes to such information must be notified to Lanark Panto Club immediately in writing.

If you are unsure whether a cast member should participate in any activity please consult the Cast Members GP before enrolling at Lanark Panto Club.

If a cast member is unwell or has an accident requiring emergency treatment, the Parent will be contacted via the emergency contact details provided. This number must always be contactable whilst in attendance. However, by agreeing to these T&Cs you agree that in extreme cases, LPC have the right to make medical decisions on your behalf.

PHYSICAL CONTACT

From time to time it is necessary for the teachers/production team to use physical contact when helping to improve pupils’ posture or assist in movements, or for Health and Safety reasons. This includes physical contact between students i.e. holding hands.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

Lanark Panto Club hold no responsibility for any personal property during rehearsals, classes and show week. Cast are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Lanark Panto Club can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
